Welcome to Riverview Elementary School

Riverview Elementary School, on Wausau's east side, serves students in 4K through fifth grade. With a rich tradition of academic excellence, the staff here are committed to ensuring the success of every child, every day, by cultivating and nurturing a passion for learning. Students are encouraged to utilize critical thinking skills to creatively problem solve any challenge, while always illustrating proper respect toward others.

Riverview Elementary’s dedicated group of teachers and support staff are committed to providing all students with a safe and child-centered learning environment. Through partnerships with families, we strive to prepare students to become productive members of an ever-changing world. Riverview Elementary students are exposed to high quality educational experiences that ensure they reach their maximum potential as lifelong learners.

We encourage parents to take an active role in their child's education. Our parent-teacher organization (PTO) provides strong support for enrichment activities and events at school, greatly benefiting all of our students.
